Dear Parents,
Hello and I hope you all had a wonderful first week back at school and that the children have settled in ok. I am very excited that our clubs start this week:
Monday 7 September - Rise to Lead 4:00 to 5:00 pm and The Detective Club 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Thursday 10 September - Young Founders House 4:00 to 5:00 pm and The Insiders Club 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Saturday 12 September - Rise to Lead 2:00 to 3:00 pm and Young Founders House 3:15 to 4:15 pm
I am so looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and welcoming everyone.
A few things to remember:
We are usually at Patch by around 3:45 pm, where I give the children some snacks, and Rise to Lead starts at 4:00 pm. If your child is staying for both classes you pick them up at 6:30 pm, and if not, at 5:00 pm. And please do not worry if you are running late. I will be at Patch anyway, things happen, London trains happen. 😃 I am a parent myself and I completely understand, so no panic, I am very flexible. If you are going to be late and would like me to give your child some light dinner, just send me a text and I will happily do that.
One small favour: please save my number, 07414 962803, in your contacts. I send notifications on WhatsApp as broadcast messages to respect every parent's privacy, and unfortunately they do not reach you unless my number is already saved.
Something I do not shout about enough
I wanted to share something I am very proud to offer to all the parents and children who are part of my little family, as I like to call it. Most clubs offer around 10 sessions a term. I decided from the beginning to run a different model. As a parent myself I know how annoying it is when the club routine does not match the school routine, never quite knowing when a club starts or stops. So my clubs run every single week that school runs, except bank holidays and inset days, which means 13 to 15 sessions a term. And I have also decided never to change what you pay because of it. The rate you join at is locked in for as long as you are a member of our little but growing family. 😊 All the term dates are here: https://configuracademy.com/dates/
The Young Founders Market, this Sunday
Our Young Founders Market runs on Sunday 13 September, 12:00 to 3:00 pm at Patch, and every child signed up to the Thursday and Saturday Young Founders House clubs gets their market stall for free. I will send a separate email with more information and some help on how to prepare, but I would appreciate it if you could let me know in advance if your child cannot make it. It is going to be a very busy one, with face painting, slime workshops, live music, food and drink, and lots of other activities organised by Discover Twickenham as part of the Taste of Twickenham event. If you can pop by and say hello, please do, we would love to see some familiar faces.
Thank you for the reviews
Finally, thank you so much to everyone who heard my plea and left a Google review here: https://g.page/r/CbnjugNBzTODEAE/review or completed the feedback form here: https://feedback.configuracademy.com/ I am enormously grateful, and I do not take the time you spent on either of them lightly. If you are thinking of doing it, please do not hesitate, it helps a small local business like ours more than almost anything.
A big thank you and a big welcome to this new and exciting term together. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support.
That is everything from this week. As always, if you have a question about any of the programmes or anything you would like to talk through, you can reply to this email or message me directly on 07414 962803.
If you have missed any of our previous newsletters, you can catch up on them all here:

See you all this week. 😊
