Configur Academy - Detective birthday parties, and we are back this week

Dear Parents,

Hello, this is Orgesa from Configur Academy, and I hope you have all had a lovely half term. As there were no classes this week, this is a very different newsletter from our usual one, and before we go back to our weekly standard newsletter next week, I would love to tell you about something I have been planning for a very long time. Just 1 quick thing first, because it is tomorrow: there are no classes on Monday 2 November, as it is an INSET day, and all the dates for the week are at the bottom of this email.

Remember last week I mentioned I had something new to announce? Well, I am finally very happy to do so. I would like to present to you our Detective Birthday Parties: https://configuracademy.com/detective-party/

It is not an ordinary party at all, it is a detective party, with a case written around your child and personalised to their interests, their favourite theme and the things they love. As with everything else we do, we take our time to make it the most special day for your child. And the birthday does not start when we arrive at the venue, it starts a week before, when an envelope arrives at your door addressed to your child, inviting them to the party and introducing the case. Then on the day, 2 hours of the funniest case, written and organised around your child’s interests, with lots of games to play, clues to find, witnesses to question and problems to solve, until the winning team finds the culprit.

We provide the entertainment and can come to your house or to a venue of your choosing, and we are also putting together a package with Patch in Twickenham, where we have our weekly classes, so that you can book the party and the venue together, and I will let you know as soon as that is ready. And as a thank you to this amazing community, I would love to offer £50 off the party entertainment if you book by Thursday 31 December 2026. Places are limited, so it will be first come, first served. 😊

Just a quick reminder that there are no classes tomorrow, Monday 2 November: no Rise to Lead and no Detective Club, because of the INSET day, but we will be seeing you all again from Wednesday with our Detective Club at St Stephen’s, on Thursday with Young Founders House and The Insiders Club, and on Saturday 7 November with our Saturday Rise to Lead and Young Founders House.

And the classes carry on every week until the very last week of the autumn term in December. As a parent myself, I truly believe that children need their routine, and as parents we need the routine too, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing the childcare is there, so I do not believe in doing some weeks on and some weeks off during the term. I believe we should have a class every week the term runs, which is why most of our terms have more than 10 weeks of classes. 😊

Half term and INSET Day: no clubs from Monday 26 October to Tuesday 3 November

Thank you so much again for your support. I do not take it lightly. I would love it if you could give me some feedback on the form below. I read every one, and it helps me make these programmes better for our children. I certainly do not take anything personally, so please do complete it. 🙂 It helps me more than you can imagine, and if you could leave a testimonial too I would be extremely grateful: feedback.configuracademy.com

Have a lovely week. That is everything from this week. As always, if you have a question about either programme or if there is anything you would like to talk through, you can reply to this email or message me directly on 07414 962803.
